Salutations! :) My name is Gabriel, I'm 17 years old and I live in Brazil. I'm grandson of Gibran Tebeshrani, son of Deeb Tebeshrani, who immigrated to this country in the 30's. Gibran had here, as Fouad said, 2 kids: Sami Tebechrani (my uncle, who lives in Sao Paulo with Beatriz and his 2 sons, Frederico and Alexandre) and my dad, Gabriel (who passed away last January). I'm senior on highschool and live with my mom, Helena, and my brother Raphael, who's 15 years old. We were very happy to know about this interesting site and to get contact with so many relatives. Najib, Nora, Habib and George (The Mukhtar) I am residing in Groves, Texas USA 90 miles east of Houston. I am married to Wadad Jarjoura for Betram Al Koura, the father of Ziad, Lina, Nadia and the grandfather of Mathew, Azlyn and Nicolas. I have a B.S. in Mechanical. Engineering. My specialty is Reliability of Turbo-Machinery in petrochemical industries. Last year I retired from Chevron after 25years of service where I used to be The Equipment Reliability Supervisor. I stayed in retirement for one year. During this period I went to Lebanon for couple of months. While I was in Lebanon remodeling a retirement floor in our house, Premcor Inc. Company in Port Arthur Texas contacted me and offered me a job, which I accepted as a Senior Equipment Reliability Consultant Engineer. I think I will work two to three years, then Dhour Shweir here I come. First, I would likel to thank George Matar for introducing me to this website-it is really rerrific. I feel that quite a few of us are going to wind up related. I am the daughter of Raymond Elias Choueri and Dolly Rucker. My father is the son of Elias Choueri and Najla Gobreil from Dhour Schweir, my mother is Greet/Austrian. My parents married and moved to Beirut, I am the third of four children. We lived in Sin-El-Fil until the war in 1975 and then moved to Riyadh in Saudi Arabia and then on to Montreal, Canada for 17 years. Iam single, and have been living in Dubai for the past five years and work with a Canadian Real Estate Company as Commercial Manager. I was born in Detroit, Michigan and moved back when I was five to Beirut and have been back many times. Our side of the Choueri family tree are Greek Orthodox and are related to the Choueri/Moujaes families. I would like to add some personal comments about myself. I live in Berkeley California for the past 38 years, married and have two kids, Freddy 36 years old and still looking for a life time partner, and Laura 34 years married to Ricky Navarro and have one daughter 'Talia' 4 years old. I graduated from St.Mary's college in Moraga with a degree in Health Service Administration. Presently, I'm working AT THE VA Medical Center in SanFrancisco as a Radiology Director and Administrator to 4 clinical departments, my wife Margaret is a retired RN worked in Kaiser Hospital in Oakland for 25 years. Anwar, thank you for your lovely invitation on Saturday the 23rd of september 2000. I immensely enjoyed meeting all the lovely faces of El-Shweiriey people. My name is Fouad Wadih Tabsharani son of Wadih Deeb Tabsharani and Hanneh Kader. Born in Jerusalem where my father Wadih left El-Shweir to work with his uncle Sabeh Saad-Allah. Jerusalem then was a British Mandate. I have one brother Joseph lives in Healdsburg Ca and one sister Therese she lives in Arizona from my Dad's first marriage. My Dad remarried. From the second marriage, I have two brothers and three sisters, George who resides here in Windsor Ca. Violette in Montereol,Canada, and Deeb, Georgette and Maddoul in Shweir. I have visited Shweir three years ago , enjoied the memories and all the beautiful people that I left behind. My grandfather Deeb Tabsharani and grandmother Maddoul Saad- Allah, had 5 kids, uncle Gibran, who immigrated to Bbrazil along with Neimeh Yafeth in 1930, have one son alive,his name is Sami.The second son passed away last year. Uncle Hannah, passed away this year in Shweir. My Dad Wadih still in Shweir and my aunt Salimeh, also in Shweir. Aunt Adel passed away 15 years ago in Shweir. This is my family in a nutshell. I 'm working on our family tree, I hope I'll have the privilege to submitted here on this website when I'm done with it.
