My name is Habib the son of Ghassan and Mona. My grandfather's name is Habib (although I'm not the eldest) and my grand mother's name is Tamem (al Ideeseh). My father used to be the Barber in Shweir and in Dhour with his Cousin Izzat Halabi. I'm the 2nd in a family of three boys: Elie(32 yrs), then I(30 yrs) then Omar(23 yrs), and two girls: Roula(25 yrs married to Bassam Halabi in California San Jose) and Rana(12 yrs). I'm an Employee of Origin Middle-East in Saudi Arabia and Work for Saudi Aramco Oil Company. I'm a certified SAP Consultant and works in the field of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and IT is my Domain. I am the youngest son born to Toubia Baaklini and Afifi Khuniessr (Kincer), I live in the most beautiful city in central Texas, married to Joy Rose have two girls Natalie (17) and Jillian (15), I came to Texas in 1969 graduated from University of Texas in Austin in 73 worked for three years in Saudi Arabia, then moved back to Texas. I have been back to Shwier three times since 1976, certainly not enough. I work for the City of Austin in the Water and Wastewater Utility, I manage the engineering program. Tahiyaat, I am overwhelmed with joy to wt I’ve seen from this achievement Al Shweirieh accomplished till now. This is great but I hv few comments, do u know guys and this goes to all the families, not being bios by any means ' Sawaya ' family is the largest and Strongest. Hay just kidding, I love u all and all the families of our town is one big family although the Moujaes family are sometimes very jealous from us. About me, well I work in Saudia, with SoftTech/Origin MiddleEast our partners are Ariba, Webmethods & Requisite Techno. My father is Najib Michael Sawaya, MUKHTAR al Sheiwr ( Mukhtar Rights only ), I was born in Nigeria and we all DECIDED to RETURN back to our country in Mid 86, with all the fallbacks and wars, I'm glad to be part of this unique structure, stubbornness & wisdom we Shwireh hv. Marhaba My name is George son of Elias and Victoria Matar. we are also known as the Bou Najms . My Grandparents are Najib and Aafifi Matar My other grandparents are Ayoub Yacoub and Melia Faris Moujaes. I am the youngest (and at one time Handsomest)of five children. Najib, Nora, Nabil, and Habib are all residing in the USA 90 miles east of Houston. I am blessed with a wonderful wife Janice Alford Matar that shares my life and all my dreams. We have two Children, Leila Jane,(22 yrs) I call her Mishmosh because she's just as sweet, and Michael George (17) nickname McKhool. I can honestly say that my most memorable moments is wittnessing my childrens birth. When I was 11 I fell off the 'SHEER' and survived, at 17 a co-founded a rock and roll band 'The Games' with Alfred Moujaes, Mounir Matar and later on Kamal Merhej joined us(Mounir and Kamal are still living in Dhour) That was the best experience of my young life, look for the story later. I have a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, and a registered professional Engineer in the State of Texas. My specialty is designing equipment for the chemical and petrochemical industries.
